Improved design of retaining pin device of elastic pin coupling

The elastic pin coupling is composed of two halves, which are respectively connected with the driving shaft and the driven shaft.Elastic pin coupling is a mechanical part used to connect two shafts (driving shaft and driven shaft) in different mechanisms so that they can rotate together to transmit torque.In the high-speed and heavy-duty power transmission, some couplings also have the function of buffering, damping and improving the dynamic performance of the shafting.The general power machine is mostly connected with the working machine by means of a coupling.


Aiming at the problems in the original standard design, the author improved the design of the retaining pin structure of the LX elastic pin coupling.described as follows:

1、将左半联轴器的凸缘孔设计为异径通孔,这样就省去了原设计的左侧挡板。换轴销时,旧轴销可以通过小孔由左到右顶出。

2. Process the inner side of the right half coupling into a "fancy" stop pin structure.That is, a groove is machined inside the flange.The groove is located at the center of the circumference of the flange hole, with a width of 4mm x a depth of 8mm.

当换新的轴销时,用12#~14#铁丝在沟槽内围绕一圈后扎牢,就起到挡销的作用,替代了原来的挡板。

In the field, the existing LX-type elastic pin coupling can also be modified.That is to say, it is sufficient to weld on the original coupling with a processing piece similar to the "fancy" stop pin structure on the inner side of the flange, and it will not be repeated here.
