It is suitable for high temperature, humidity and dusty working conditions. It is not suitable for high speed, severe impact load and transmission of axial force. In the case of low pressure, the roller chain coupling should work under the conditions of good lubrication and a protective cover.

Precautions for disassembly and assembly of GL roller chain coupling:
1. When removing the roller chain coupling, don't hit it directly with a hammer but use a copper rod instead, and you should hit the hub of the roller chain coupling instead of the outer edge of the roller chain coupling, because of this It is easy to be broken.The ideal way is to disassemble the roller chain coupling with a captive.For small and medium-sized water pumps, the roller chain coupling is easy to take off because of its small fit interference.For larger water pumps, the roller chain coupling and the shaft have a larger interference, so the roller chain coupling is heated when disassembling.
2. When assembling the roller chain coupling, pay attention to the serial number of the key (for roller chain couplings with more than two keys).When hitting with a copper rod, pay attention to the hitting part.For example, when tapping on the end face of the shaft hole, it is easy to cause the shaft hole to shrink, so that the shaft cannot pass through; tapping on the outer edge of the opposite wheel will easily damage the straightness of the end face, which will affect the accuracy of the measurement when using a feeler gauge in the future. degree.For roller chain couplings with large interference, they should be heated before installation.
3. The specifications and sizes of the roller chain coupling pins, nuts, washers and rubber pads are the same, so as not to affect the dynamic balance of the roller chain coupling.Corresponding marks should be made on the roller chain coupling bolts and the corresponding roller chain coupling pin holes to prevent incorrect installation.
4. Roller chain couplings and shafts generally adopt transitional fits. There may be a small amount of interference or a small amount of clearance. For roller chain couplings with longer hubs, a looser transitional fit can be used. , Because of its long shaft hole and rough and uneven surface processing, it will naturally produce partial interference after assembly.If it is found that the fit between the roller chain coupling and the shaft is too loose, which affects the concentricity of the hole and shaft, repair welding should be carried out.Punching or padding copper on the shaft is an expedient measure, not an ideal method.
