Precautions for heating application of FCL elastic pin coupling

1.Elastic pin couplingStress: due to the difference in heat between the inside and outside of the metal, the expansion is uneven, and internal stress is generated, which is called thermal stress.If the temperature is too high during annealing to cause graphite cross-section, it will not be easy to cut and cause overheating and deformation during quenching.Decarburization causes soft spots on the surface of the workpiece, reducing the hardness and fatigue strength of the surface.

4. Decarburization of the elastic pin coupling: Decarburization refers to the phenomenon that all or part of the carbon on the steel surface is burned off.

5. Lingsi elastic pin coupling overheating and overburning: overheating refers to the coarse grain growth after the steel exceeds the allowable temperature during heating.

Installation and disassembly steps of FCL type elastic pin coupling

Be sure to adjust the axial, radial and angular deviation of the coupling first, and confirm the allowable deviation range based on the shaft diameter.

Installation steps: Put the outer ring on the half coupling, install the baffle, install the half coupling on a shaft, and install the pin.Install the other half of the coupling in the outer ring and install the pin; install the baffle, fix it with screws, and install the other shaft.

Disassembly steps: loosen the screws on the baffle, remove the baffle, and extract the pin; loosen the drive end base screw and remove the drive; loosen the top wire on the coupling and use the trigonometric puller Pull out the coupling.
